Gold Coast Airport is set to welcome a new international connection, with Fiji Airways launching direct Gold Coast–Nadi flights from 11 June 2026.
Operating three times a week on the modern Boeing 737 MAX 8, the service will add more than 53,000 seats annually between the Gold Coast (OOL) and Nadi (NAN). Flights depart every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:15am, landing in Nadi at 11:30am—bringing two iconic beach destinations within just over three hours of each other.
This expansion marks the Gold Coast as Fiji Airways’ seventh Australian port and strengthens the airline’s growing international network, offering seamless one‑stop connectivity to key destinations across North America, Asia and the South Pacific.
Fiji Airways Managing Director & CEO Paul Scurrah said the addition feels like a natural fit:
“This new direct service strengthens ties between Fiji and Australia, unlocking significant opportunities for both outbound and inbound travel.”
Queensland Airports Limited CEO Amelia Evans called the announcement a major step in expanding Gold Coast Airport’s international links.
“Beyond giving locals another incredible holiday option, this connection opens the Gold Coast to even more of the world.”
With Fiji Airways’ strong links to the United States and Canada, travellers will also gain a convenient new pathway from North America to the Gold Coast via Fiji.
Advisors can now share introductory return fares from AUD $549 to Nadi, and from AUD $999 to North America (Los Angeles, Dallas–Fort Worth or Vancouver via Nadi).
These fares are available for bookings until 31 December 2025 for travel between 11 June and 30 November 2026.
